SingPass
SingPass or "Singapore Personal Access" is a common password that allows you to transact with Government online services. Other than using it for IRAS, CPFB and ACRA e-services, you can start to use it for HBiz in December 2005. With SingPass, you will no longer need to fret about the flexibility about that extra HBiz UserID/Password that you need to manage when you have another unit.

Also, the new password system will allow you the flexibility of granting access rights to staff in your company to administer information and applications in HBiz. For example, you may want to get your staff to update Business Directory while retaining the rights to view Tax Invoice and Rental Status to yourself only.

Please click on the following to view the respective step-by-step user guides:
a) Conversion to SingPass; and
b) Enhanced Login Facilities.
Q1  What is SingPass?
SingPass stands for "Singapore Personal Access".

1. It is an alphanumeric password of between 8 to 24 characters. Special characters, excluding space, are acceptable - e.g. hgu%7$
2. It is your common password to transact with different Government online services.
Q2  What is my SingPass ID?
For Singapore Citizens & Permanent Residents, your SingPass ID is your NRIC number (CPF Account number) e.g. S1234567X or SA123456Z

For Employment/Dependant/S-Pass holders, your SingPass ID will be your Foreign Identification Number (FIN) e.g. F1234567X or G1234567Z.
Q3  Where can I get my SingPass? How can I reset my password if I cannot remember it?
You may request for your SingPass to be posted to you via Online Request service. The password should reach you within 4 working days for local addresses.

If you would like to get the password immediately, you can go any CPF Board branch offices, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), selected Community Club/Centre (CC) or any Community Development Councils (CDCs) to apply or get it reset.

You will need to bring these required documents along for verification:

• Singapore Citizens & Permanent Residents: NRIC or Passport
• Employment and Dependant Pass holders: Employment Pass or Dependant Pass and Passport.
• S-Pass holders: S-Pass card
Q4  Can I authorise someone to reset my SingPass on my behalf?
As SingPass is a highly confidential password, third-party request or reset of SingPass is strictly not allowed.
Q5  How do I change my current SingPass online?
Go to https://www.cpf.gov.sg/cpf_trans/SSL/SingPass/SingPass_lgin1.asp?tran_code=CSP1 to change your current password. You will be prompted to key in your SingPass ID followed by your current SingPass. Thereafter the system will prompt you to key in your new SingPass. Alternatively, just log on to any Government online service that require you to access with your SingPass.

• On the second page where you are prompted to key in your SingPass, enter your current password and check the box "Tick here to change your SingPass"
• Click "Login"
• You will then be prompted to enter your new SingPass.

Q6  How can I get my SingPass if I'm overseas?
You can submit an Online Request for your SingPass and it will be posted to your official address maintained with the Government. Please ensure that your overseas address has been updated before submitting your Online Request.

• Singapore Citizens & Permanent Residents, to update your NRIC address, click here.
• Employment/Dependant/S-Pass holders, to update your company address, click here.
• Eligible work permit holders, to update your address, click here.

Q7  Why am I unable to login with the SingPass sent to me via post?
As your SingPass is randomly generated by the system, some of the characters such as the alphabets "O" and "I" may look similar to the numbers "0" and "1". Do ensure that you key in the correct characters when logging in.
Q8  What online services can I access with my SingPass?
You can access the following organisations' online services with your SingPass:

• Central Provident Fund Board
• Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority
• Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore
• GeBIZ
• HBiz

This is not an exhaustive list. Many government agencies will switch to SingPass as the login system for their e-services.

• Valid Employment & Dependant Pass holders
• Valid S-Pass holders

NOTE: Minimum age requirement is 15 years old.
