What is Assignment of Industrial Premises?
 
Conditions for approval of Assignment include:
  1. Registered Tenant (Assignor) shall not be in rental arrears
  2. Existing Addition and Alteration Works (A & A) must be authorised.
  3. Clearance of Incoming Tenant's (Assignee's) trade required from National Environment Agency (NEA) if trade is not indicated as non-pollutive in application form (Form-IA to be submitted to NEA for approval); and Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) and Health Sciences Authority (if involves processing of food and medicine respectively)

Assignee (Proposed New Tenant) completes his portion of the E-Application
   
   
HDB informs tenant of in-principle approval via email
FORM-IA (PCD) is required to be submited to NEA if trade is not declared as non-pollutive in the application form
Upon NEA's approval  
HDB sends email and letter to both assignor & assignee to sign Termination Order & Tenancy Agreement at IPD Counter

Things to bring:

(By Assignor)
  1. Letter of Authorisation for Partnership or Company's Resolution and company's stamp for Registered Company;
  2. Payment for administrative fee of $200 (GST exclusive);
  3. Payment for any outstanding amount owing to HDB.

(By Assignee)
  1. Letter of Authorisation for Partnership or Company's Resolution and Deed of Guarantee;
  2. Photocopies of NRIC (front and back)/ Passport / Work Permit  of all partners and person authorized to sign on behalf of company;
  3. Payment for Stamp Fee;
  4. Payment for 1st month of rental, SC/CC and rental deposit;
  5. Approved letter from NEA (if required);
  6. GIRO form.
Termination Order / Tenancy Agreement signed
