| What is Assignment of Industrial Premises? |
| |
| Conditions for approval of Assignment include: |
- Registered Tenant (Assignor) shall not be in rental arrears
- Existing Addition and Alteration Works (A & A) must be authorised.
- Clearance of Incoming Tenant's (Assignee's) trade required from
National Environment Agency (NEA) if trade is not indicated as
non-pollutive in application form (Form-IA
to be submitted to NEA for approval); and Agri-Food & Veterinary
Authority of Singapore (AVA) and Health Sciences Authority (if
involves processing of food and medicine respectively)

(PCD) is required to be submited to NEA if trade is not declared as

HDB sends email and letter to both assignor & assignee to sign Termination Order & Tenancy Agreement at IPD Counter
Things to bring:
(By Assignor)
- Letter of Authorisation for Partnership or Company's Resolution and company's stamp for Registered Company;
- Payment for administrative fee of $200 (GST exclusive);
- Payment for any outstanding amount owing to HDB.
(By Assignee)
- Letter of Authorisation for Partnership or Company's Resolution and Deed of Guarantee;
- Photocopies of NRIC (front and back)/ Passport / Work Permit of
all partners and person authorized to sign on behalf of company;
- Payment for Stamp Fee;
- Payment for 1st month of rental, SC/CC and rental deposit;
- Approved letter from NEA (if required);
- GIRO form.
