Armstrong

The content-rich website was first launched in 1998 at a cost of
about $2000. Armstrong chose to adopt ecommerce in their business
strategy in order to stay competitive and improve on their productivity.
Although the company can't really put a finger at the exact business
growth arising from (the website), it had definitely helped in marketing
the Armstrong brand name internationally. The website is updated
as and when necessary by the company's team of marketing and MIS
staff. Besides public access, the website also has an intranet module
for internal use.
Currently,
Armstrong deploys the use of IT in the office in various modes eg
LAN, WAN, Office Email, Remote Email Access, Enterprise Resource
Planning System, CAD/CAM, PDM etc.
